Yoga Nidra is a simple, efficient and pleasant form of relaxation / meditation developed by the modern yoga master Swami Satyananda Saraswati (1923-2009).Yoga Nidra means "yogic sleep" and refers to a state of consciousness where body and mind are in deep sleep, as in sleep, while a part of our consciousness is constantly alert and observe everything that happens in the body and the mind.
